Look at the fate of the city of nizam; Adminstration of Supplying purified water for drinking purposes to the people of city do not trust their supplies and rather buy the purified drinking water. I read this today in the local newspaper that the CM and their babus are spending about 20 lakhs every month to drink the purified water. so pity!!
So what does this means - It means they dont care for the human life - errrr.. they dont care for common man's life .
An ideal situation would have been the one, where in the politicians and all the officers drank the tap water to ensure that the water purification was being taken in seriously. but these guys rather stay away from that and treat themselves as the most important people for the mankind.
Basic truth is that, why should these politicians be blamed.. its the common man who has to be blamed; if he cannot stand for himself then nobody will stand for him. Wish our people know what their rights are and how to go for it.

hey hero, nice article. send this to the editor and ask him to print this in their next publication.
ReplyDeleteIf one man stands up, he'll disappear. If 10 stand up they'll be arrested. If 100 stand up, they'll be lathi-charged for rioting. If a 1000 stand up, they'll be blamed as being supporters of the opposition parties trying to defame the government. We need to stand together, not just a few but all of us. Only then will someone take notice.
ReplyDeleteBut then, making a noise once and then just disappearing into the dark will not do anyone any good. After the Mumbai attacks, people organised protest rallies at the Gateway of India and at various locations across the Indian Metros. They vowed to keep it going every week. What happened to all that? One week of protests, someone burnt a flag, everyone got the TV coverage they wanted, the news channels got something to show as Breaking News” and now it’s all history. “Chalta hai yaar”.
We are not people looking for personal fame or to be visible to the world on television. We need to keep standing till these problems are rectified. We must take time out of our busy schedules because tomorrow it might be one of us who suffers this fate. Tomorrow, we should not sit and regret that we had a chance to do something but we let it go.
