It was an exciting and thrilling low scoring match. Very difficult to predict who could have won this even till the penultimate over of the match. But it was the day for the Deccans, the team which were the last in the last IPL Season, have become the Champions this Season.
Kudos to Gilly and his team, who kept the cool to win this Season Championship.
Once Again, IPL Proves, T20 is unpredictable.
Congratulations Deccan Chargers...

Life itself is unpredictable my friend so then any game is more so. Yes, some predictions can be made based on the capabilities of the people in the team. So, if let’s say India is playing Bangladesh, we can say that there is a very good chance that India will win, but, on their day, even Bangladesh can win. No offence meant to the Bangladesh team, they too have some good players and they too are an international side, but, they are not as experienced as India is in this game.
ReplyDeleteThe Deccan Chargers was always a very good team. Even in the last IPL there were the best team on paper, but the team could not gel together in the short period that they were together. You were asking a group of people from different cultures and with different playing styles to perform together as a unit at moment’s notice. It was a time when very few understood the T20 format. The Royal Challengers understood the game very quickly back then and under the able leadership of Shane Warne, they won.
One year later and with many countries playing T20 matches, coaches and players have more insight into the working of the game. This is the reason why no one was sure who would be in the semis till the last match. KKR was an exception due to internal problems they had.
